Sainik School Kazhakootam Admission Eligibility Criteria
Admission in Sainik School Kazhakootam is confined to classes VI for boys and Girls and 9th for boys only. The standard of the Sainik School Kazhakootam Entrance Examination (AISSEE) would be equivalent to that of Standard 5th & VIII (CBSE Pattern) respectively.

For class 9th: Boys have passed 8th class from recognized school, and studying in class VIII in a recognized school is eligible for apply.
For Class 6th: those Boys have passed 5th class from recognized school in previous year or studying in class 5th is eligible for admission in Sainik School.

- For Class VI Admission: Aspirants who are not under ten years or over twelve years of age as on 31st March 2024.
- For Class IX Admission: Candidates who are not under 13 years or over 15 years of age as on March 31, 2024.

Seat reservation Policy
As per new reservation policy, the reservation of seats will be as follows.
- 15% of the total seats are reserved for scheduled caste boys.
- 5% seats for scheduled tribe boys.
- Out of the remaining, 67% seats are reserved for domicile boys of Kerala state.
- Remaining 33% is open to boys from other states and UT
- 25% of seats from each category are reserved for children of service personnel including ex-servicemen.

- Medium of Sainik School Kazhakootam Entrance examination will be English, Hindi, Malayalam or any other recognized official language.
