Sainik School Admission 2022-23 E-counselling Date & Rules
E-counselling for Sainik School admission has been started from today i.e. 08 may 2022. All qualified students in AISSEE -2022, can apply for e-counselling through official website of E-counselling portal @sainikschool.ncog.gov.in/ecounselling. Details time-table has given below in this table.

21 New Sainik Schools Approved: Here is good news for these parents whose child had applied online application form for admission in sainik schools but there child has not selected in Final Merit List. Now Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved setting up of 21 new Sainik Schools, in partnership with NGOs/private schools/State Governments.
All 21 New Sainik Schools shall be open from currents session. Academic session 2022-23 for approved New Sainik Schools is likely to commence in first week of May 2022. Indicative timelines can be seen at web portal sainikschool.ncog.gov.in.
These schools will be set up in the initial round of the Government’s initiative of setting up of 100 new Sainik schools across the country in partnership mode. They will be distinct from the existing Sainik Schools.
21 New Sainik Schools Admission 2022-23~ Eligibility
In this 21 New Sainik schools, Admission will be done on the basis of list of qualified candidates of AISSEE 2022-23 {All India Sainik schools Entrance examination 2022-23}. AISSEE 2022-23 was conducted by NTA on 9th January 2022 and the List of Qualified candidates have released on 28th February 2022.

New Sainik Schools Admission process 2022-23
Admission in these new Sainik Schools will be at class VI level only on the following Guidelines.
As per Guideline, At least 40 percent of intake in class VI will be from candidates who have qualified the AISSEE {All India Sainik School Entrance Examination} conducted by National Testing Agency {NTA} through E-Counselling.
Upto 60 percent intake will be from students enrolled in the same school and desirous of taking admission under this vertical of new Sainik Schools through a qualifying test. Regarding the qualifying test Notification will be issued separately.
