Kendriya Vidyalaya MP Quota Admission 2022-23: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (HQ) New Delhi has been released KVS Admission Guideline for academic year 2022- 23 | KVS Admission Schedule 2022-23 and KVS Admission Notice on 24th February 2022. But due to the petition filed against the KVS Admission 2022-23 class 1 age limit in the Delhi High Court, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan released the Revised KVS Admission Schedule and KV Admission Notice on 20th February2022.
Latest Update KVS Admissions 2022-23 under discretionary quotas of MP’s, on 15th April 2022
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has put on hold the admission under MP quota/ DM Quota in all Kendriya Vidyalayas across country till further orders. All Kendriya Vidyalaya are run by KVS and affiliated by CBSE. In this regard, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has sent letters to all KVs of the country. According to a letter sent to all Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), all the discretionary quotas, including the MP of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha and DM Quota for admissions to various Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country are hold till next order.
Stated in the letter “As per the directions of KVS headquarters, New Delhi, you are hereby informed that no admissions should be done under special provisions till further order,”
Instruction to Fill KVS Online Application Form | How to Apply for KVS Admission 2022-23
As per Revised KVS Admission Schedule 2022, Parents can apply application form and Registration on April 11, 2022. KVS Admission 2022-23 First List class 1 will be released on April 18, 2022. Second and 3rd list of KVS Admission 2022-23 to be released on 25.04.2022 and 02.05.2022 respectively.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission under MP Quota Rajyasabha
As per KVS Admission Guidelines, admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas will be granted on priority basis. Apart from this, admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas is also provided over and above the class strength through special provisions. There are many types of these special provisions, which have been mentioned in the KVS Admission Guidelines. One of these special provisions is – MP quota.

According to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2022-23 Guidelines, candidates can take admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas by special provision – Under Members of Parliament quota. This admission will be granted over and above the class strength.
KVS Admission 2022-2023 Online Registration Important Dates {Revised}
Each Hon’ble Member of Parliament {MP} may refer 10 (ten) cases for admission under the scheme in an academic year but such recommendations shall be limited to those children whose parents fulfil the following conditions.
- Children whose parents belong to his constituency by domicile.
- Children whose parents are soon posted in their constituency.
- Children whose parents migrate to this constituency due to exigencies of service.
KVS Admission under MP Quota {Rajya Sabha} 2022-23
- The recommendations related to admission will be for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas located in their constituency only.
- In case there is no Kendriya Vidyalaya in the constituency (Lok Sabha) of the Hon’ble MP, he can recommend admission to Kendriya Vidyalayas located in any adjacent constituency.
- The constituency of a member of the Rajya Sabha is considered to be the state from which he has been elected to the Rajya Sabha for this purpose. That is, they can recommend admission in any Kendriya Vidyalaya located in the respective state.
- Nominated members of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha can recommend 10(ten) cases for admission in any one or more Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Country.
- These recommendations would be made for classes 1st to 9th only.
- These admissions would be made at the beginning of the academic year and no admission would be allowed after the prescribed cut-off date of the year.
