KVS Salary Structure

KVS EPF Contribution
As an employee of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), you and your employer both contribute a certain percentage of your basic salary towards the EPF account. As per the current KVS rules, the employee’s contribution to the EPF is 12% of the basic salary, while the employer’s contribution is equal to the employee’s contribution, i.e., 12% of the basic salary. This means that a total of 24% of the basic salary is contributed towards the EPF account each month.
