Sainik School Korukonda Admission Age Criteria

For Admission in class 6th: The Students aged between 10 and 12 years as on 31 Mar 2024 (date of birth between  01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014) for VI standard.

Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys.

For Admission in class 9th: Students (Only boys) aged between 13 and 15 years as on 31st Mar 2024 {date of birth between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 20011 (both days inclusive) }.

For Admission in class 9th: The students who are studying in VIII class in a recognized school are eligible for admission to IX standard.

The students who are attended previous Sainik School Entrance exam are not eligible to apply.

Number of Vacancies: Total Number of seats can be changed by Sainik School Amaravathinagar Administrative Department depending upon withdrawal/ passing out of Class 12th boys.

For Class VI: 94 Seats (approximately)

For Class IX: 18 Seats (approximately)

Reservation of Seats:

  • For SC candidates: 15%
  • For ST candidates: 7 ½ %
  • Excluding SC and ST, 67% seats reserved for Home State (TN)
