In class 9th admission students must be passed 8th standards from any recognized school. Boys studying in 8th class are also eligible for apply online admission form in Sainik School Purulia.

Age must be completed as under:-
For admission to Class VI: The students should not be less than 10 years and more than 12 years on 31st March 2024. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys is detailed in the Information Bulletin.
For admission to Class IX: Students should not be less than 13 years and more than 15 years on 31st March 2024 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.
